The IANDA Guinea Saúde project is a broad and ambitious cooperation between the European Union and Guinea-Bissau in which NOVA IHMT actively participates.
The project aims to contribute to universal health coverage in Guinea-Bissau and, since 2000, efforts have been made to strengthen the population’s resilience by improving food and nutrition security and increasing socio-economic opportunities.
A series of regular meetings with the field team have taken place on a regular basis. The last phase of the PADIRH course (Advanced Program for Clinical Directors) have recently occurred, dedicated to internal medicine and travel consultation, which ended with the delivery of certificates to the 24 local physicians who participated in the course.
