At the end of the CU students should be able to: a) Identify and characterize the occupational and environmental hazards; b) Evaluate the management of health risks contained in environmental matrices; c) Identify the characteristics of the reactions of human beings to environmental and occupational hazards; d) Understand the key concepts in Occupational Health and Safety; e) Understand the general model of relationships between work and disease, identifying the possible influence of occupational hazards and health and safety risks; f) Assess, critically, the Environmental Health and Occupational Health and Safety indicators; g) To identify the specific application of conceptual frameworks and operating in this area for to the low-income countries.
