Learning outcomes of the course:
a) To acquire knowledge about the main Human life cycle stages, and recognize the importance of diet and nutrition during the human life cycle;
b) To understand nutritional needs, nutritional recommendations and food-based dietary guidelines;
c) To acquire knowledge and to develop skills of diet and nutrition in reproductive health, pregnancy and lactation, recognizing the nutritional metabolic programming effects and transgenerational impact of nutrition;
d) To acquire knowledge on infancy and childhood development, and skills within the ambit of diet and Nutrition in the distinct developmental stages of infancy and childhood;
e) To acquire knowledge about the adolescent and specific nutritional needs, as well as to understand the challenges of promoting a healthy Lifestyle during adolescence, recognizing the importance of diet and Nutrition during adolescence to reproductive health and of its transgenerational effects;
