This CU will provide knowledge to identify the critical set of parameters to be removed and the treatment line to be implemented. Identification of the industrial sectors, with the greatest impact associated with wastewater, and their treatment systems. Resource recovery, recycling and water reuse will be focused within the circular economy, climate change and water scarcity paradigm (SDG 6). Energy (savings and production) will be addressed, taking into account the energy potential of industrial effluents and the commitment to carbon neutrality.
