The main objectives of this course is to promote a healthy life and promote well-being for all, at all ages, through the best food recommendations, among the entire population but especially in special physiological situations, namely pregnant and lactating, children and the elderly, in cardiovascular disease prevention and how diet can predict cancer and other diseases. One of the objectives of this course curricular is to know the nutritional characteristics of different dietary patterns and their impact on the health of individuals. Thus, it is accord with ODS3 – Ensure a healthy life and promote well-being for all, at all ages.
