Artificial Intelligence has the potential to optimise energy systems, increase efficiency, enable the integration of renewable energy sources, plan energy storage and assist the planning of energy systems, thus accelerating the transition to a sustainable, low-carbon energy future.
To discuss these aspects, around two themes that are on the agenda, we invited Patrícia Fortes, researcher in the area of energy transition, and Carlos Damásio, professor and researcher in the area of Artificial Intelligence and knowledge-based systems.
