A week of activities for sustainability

05 September 2022

The beginning of this whole movement was some time ago when it was decided to have a garden with more trees to increase shade and reduce wind and so contribute to the reduction of carbon dioxide – using slow-growing, less water-consuming species.

Or to have garden benches made from recyclable material, which can be a meeting place and host work meetings out of doors. This and much more to reduce the impact on nature around us and promote inclusion.

All NOVA schools have already developed many projects and initiatives to contribute effectively to the UN Sustainable Development Goals. NOVA Sustainability Week seeks to push further new frontiers by promoting interdisciplinarity and innovation as primordial practices assumed by NOVA in its missions – from teaching and training to research and development, through the creation of value and impact on the community.Participating in NOVA Sustainability Week is a transformative opportunity for all who want to align their activities with the United Nations 2030 Agenda.
